Is your bookkeeping holding you back?

It's Not a Character Flaw. It's a Resource Issue.

I apply trauma-informed and nervous system aware frameworks to bookkeeping. Approaches rooted in somatic practices and traditions from communities who’ve long understood the relationship between money, nervous system responses, and survival. When your systems align with your values and support your needs, finances can stop feeling punitive and start feeling empowering.

Here’s how I apply nervous system-aware principles to bookkeeping:

  • When your nervous system is fried and you’re over it, we don't push through.

    We pause.

    We regroup.

    We pivot.

  • Feeling stuck or confused or frustrated isn't a moral failing.

It’s data. Data that we’ll use to build something better.

  • You get options for how we work together, when we meet, and how we structure your services.

Your nervous system gets a vote.

  • No confusing jargon, no judgment, no rush.

Just clear guidance that aligns with your values and your bandwidth.

  • The Community Exchange Program (inspired by mutual aid principles) and payment options address some financial barriers. Upfront costs are often structural, not just preference.

“I've always been good at math and engaged in my finances, but I couldn't for the life of me grasp bookkeeping when I became self-employed. It felt like a different language!

Sarah ever-so-gently learned about my business, embraced where I was at, and created a system that works for me. She brought the system to my home, and we sat at the kitchen table practicing step by step until I felt comfortable and empowered to take it on monthly.

I truly can't recommend her enough for her expertise, her approach, and her kind heart!”

Hi, I’m Sarah!

Early in my career, I realized most financial services try to squeeze you into a box. Rigid systems. One-size-fits-all. Polished but inflexible.

My own work with somatic integration showed me how our nervous systems actually function, and I started wondering: what if I applied these frameworks to financial services? I trained in somatic trauma-informed care and began applying these principles to bookkeeping.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me at the pottery studio, hopping between cafes, or diving into a good audiobook.
